The person who initiated the Sri Petaling fundraising dinner fair to raise funds to repay the national debts last night was Mr Tommy Cheung from Sun Fung Bak Kut Teh shop in Sri Petaling.
Tommy Cheung is a Hongky. He married to a Malaysian woman and ran the Bak Kut Teh shop. He said he is supportive to the Pakatan Harapan government and he sees hope in Malaysia now.
It is very touching to see a Hongky initiating a fundraising event for Malaysia. It is even more touching when he told me that each of his migrant workers in his restaurant donated RM50 for last night event.
