Police report on ‘teach Kok a lesson’ SMS

Posted on Tuesday, 30-09-2008Thursday, 02-10-2008 by Teresa Media

A police report has been lodged over two mobile phone text messages that alleged DAP Seputeh MP Teresa Kok is “anti-Islam” and “anti-Malays”[sic] and that “she should be taught a lesson”.

The report was lodged by Cheras DAP Wanita chief Carmen Leong at the Pudu police station this morning after she received at least five messages since last Thursday.

The two most recent messages – the subject of Leong’s police report – were sent to her on Sunday and last night respectively from different mobile phone numbers.

In the first message, Kok was described as “challenging and insulting Islam”, an apparent reference to the recent controversy over the volume of the azan (Muslim call to prayer) being broadcast from a few mosques in Selangor.

Kok was released after being detained seven days under the Internal Security Act (ISA) for alleged involvement in this, even though two mosque committees had promptly cleared her name.

The unknown sender berated Kok, who is also senior Selangor executive councillor, for having worn a skirt to a breaking-of-fast event at a surau in Cheras Baru recently.

In another message that Leong received last night, the sender accused Kok as being “anti-Islam and anti-Malays” and said “she should be taught a lesson”.

The person claimed that Kok has jeopardised racial harmony and that she was aiming be “a political champion”.

Leong had lodged a police report on Sunday over three similar ‘offensive messages’ that she has received since last Thursday, also condemning Kok.

Worry over safety

Met after lodging her report today, Leong said she has no clue why the “vulgar” messages were sent to her but deemed the matter as serious and threatening.

“I suspect the messages originate from the same person using different phone numbers, and could be linked to the Molotov cocktail incident at Kok’s family house on Saturday,” she told reporters.

teresa kok petrol bomb molotov 270908Leong said this is because one message contained a phrase similar to that in a note included with the two Molotov cocktails.

The message, written in pidgin Bahasa Malaysia, demanded why Kok ‘likes looking for trouble’ (lu apa pasal suka cari pasal?).

According to Leong, the police will extract the phone numbers from the telecommunication service provider to ascertain the identity of the senders.

She appealed for the investigations to be expedited, saying she was worried for Kok’s safety.

Kok has consistently denied accusations of meddling in Islam-based issues and has initiated a lawsuit against the government for ‘wrongful’ detention from Sept 12.

Go help the country or something rather than disturb the peace of the MP who really want to govern this country peacefully, if he really want to make trouble, go disturb some crocodiles or cobra snakes.

The devil has attack again so does the guerilla. What amused me is that the position of the guerilla because of racist sentiment and religion provocation by our friends Ahmad Ismail from North. Since then he has gone missing and in hide out in the political media preview.

The ripple that has cause the uproar of tsunami in racist agenda has move thru it waves until today. One much agreed the only way to move the adversary is to continue steadfast in the goodness of the blessed one.

One must overcome evil with goodness.

We Malaysia people of all religion and race must continue to pray so that our race harmony will continue to excel not because we need. It is essential mean to live continuously as a family of belief in a one common area of our house proximity that is our homeland Malaysia.

As our wise and old generation people would say, “Together we stay. Disunity we will crumble”. I bet there is some truth behind such as statement.

Let the evil take care of them self because with it nature reside in evil, it will ultimately begat the wages of sin death. The oppression of that evil will continuously corrode and vest out certain extent of community in Malaysia and dilute it competitive and ended it resistance due to in competitiveness.

Keep on hold to the believe and strive on the goodness and service to the righteous community that excel and express your kind intended vision.

another example of why Malaysians are losing focus. We care about Teresa’s skirt or words she never spoke and no hue and cry, no molotovs, no police report, no banners, maybe even some support for this one, eh?

I doubt the AG would issue any report about this deal. Pencils and screwdrivers yes, tanks, planes, ships, submarines and army rations…never heard any press report about the efficiency or effectiveness of the procurement practice.

If YB Teresa’s detractors are defenders of Malay rights as they claim, I wonder what’s their take on this?

“Bursa wants bumiputera shareholding rules relaxed

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 1 – Bursa Malaysia, the former Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange, has asked the government to relax shareholding requirements that mar the market’s attractiveness, industry officials say.

    ………..

Also, the proposals are backed by powerful ethnic Malay businessmen including Nazir Razak, chief executive of investment bank CIMB and younger brother of Finance Minister and soon-to-be prime minister Najib Razak. ”

Any similliar reaction on this one? Any SMSs, bottles, banners? This is definitely more far reaching and may be inconsistent with the target of having 30% bumi equity….so on one hand want to prolong NEP to reach this shareholding target but on the other hand want to liberalise the share market.

    A clarification is much appreciated.

    Dear Sassy Team…

Just allow me to say these….

Those SMS, got number? surely we can now identify whose owners are those hp, because by now all the hp should have been registered, even if prepaid otherwise services would have been terminated.

If the Telcos are still selling unregistered prepaid numbers then Teresa should sue these companies for not abiding by the government regulations.

Also compulsory registrations of hp now because hp has been used to trigger bombs as in southern thailand.

And finally to all those who had lied and harrassed Mother teresa.

    Matthew 5:43-48
“You’re familiar with the old written law, ‘Love your friend,’ and its unwritten companion, ‘Hate your enemy.’ I’m challenging that. I’m telling you to love your enemies. Let them bring out the best in you, not the worst. When someone gives you a hard time, respond with the energies of prayer, for then you are working out of your true selves, your God-created selves. This is what God does. He gives his best—the sun to warm and the rain to nourish—to everyone, regardless: the good and bad, the nice and nasty. If all you do is love the lovable, do you expect a bonus? Anybody can do that. If you simply say hello to those who greet you, do you expect a medal? Any run-of-the-mill sinner does that.
“In a word, what I’m saying is, You are kingdom subjects. Now live like it. Live out your God-created identity. Live generously and graciously toward others, the way God lives toward you.”

It is good to share with the people about what is happenning to you. They can judge the whole situation.
